The QR Code
The QR code is the security technology employed by the GhGL to ensure that other farmers or traders don't fake certification. It would have information encoded into it and a URL that would point to the certified farmer's or retailer's page on the website. That means that if a farmer is not certified, he/she would not be listed on the website and his url wouldn't be in existence. The URL would be changed from time to time to ensure those who might want to cheat the system find it difficult to do and wouldn't consider it worthwhile. Other means of ensuring security would be employed in time as and when necessary.
